Chris Cranias opened the first Christo's in Detroit in 1971. Everybody called him The Old Man. The grandkids called him Papou. He brought the family to Orlando in 1979, and to Sanford in 1984. He is gone now. Two of his sons carry on the family legacy in his name.

Read the menu first Order onlineMrs. Mary keeps the case up front stocked with homemade cakes, pies, cheesecakes, cookies, breads, cannoli and baklava, on rotation. Whatever came out of the oven today is what is in the case.

Free street parking runs the length of First Street, and there are public lots on Palmetto and on Oak, both a two minute walk away.
